Subject: Request to organise an awareness lecture on ‘misuse of mobiles’

Respected Madam,

I am Saurabh, a student of Std X of your school. I wish to request you to organise an awareness lecture on ‘misuse of mobiles’ for the students of our school.

Recently, I read a newspaper report which said that uncontrolled use of mobile phones and video games is affecting school going children. Many of them suffer from eye strain, headaches, sleeplessness and back pain. Their studies and outdoor play are also suffering. Some of our own classmates spend long hours on phones and games.

An expert lecture will help students understand the harmful effects of mobile misuse and use phones wisely. I therefore request you to kindly arrange such a lecture at the earliest.

Thanking you.

Yours obediently,
Saurabh
