Ans:
I visited a nearby village during a field visit. The village had green farms, wells, and small houses. Most people were engaged in farming. The climate was pleasant and there were many trees around the village. We observed the sources of water, roads, and agricultural activities there.
2) By observing Figure 1.1, write in your own words about which elements are studied in Geography.
Ans:
- Geography studies both physical and human elements.
- Physical elements include landforms, atmosphere, water bodies, plants, and animals.
- Human elements include population, settlements, economic activities, and transport.
