The Balance of Trade refers to the difference between the value of exports and imports of a country during a specific period.
(i) Unfavourable Balance of Trade
When the value of imports is more than the value of exports, it is called an unfavourable balance of trade.
(ii) Favourable Balance of Trade
When the value of exports is more than the value of imports, it is called a favourable balance of trade.
(iii) Balanced Balance of Trade
When the value of exports and imports is almost equal, it is called a balanced balance of trade.

WTO stands for World Trade Organisation. Its main objectives are:
