📘 Lesson 12 – समानमस्तु भोजनम्
(Let the food be shared equally)
🟣 Introduction of the Lesson
This lesson is about Lord Krishna and his friends (Gopalas).
They go to the forest daily to graze cows.
One day, they sit together to eat food.
Krishna teaches them an important lesson —
👉 Sharing makes food more tasty.
👉 Unity and equality are important.
🟣 Story in Simple English
- Balakrishna and the Gopalas graze cows in Gokul.
- Every day they go to the forest together.
- At noon, they sit under a tree to eat.
- Krishna asks, “What have you brought for food?”
- Each friend tells what he has brought — curd rice, laddus, puris, etc.
- Krishna says, “Let us mix all the food together.”
- They mix all the food.
- The food becomes very tasty.
- Krishna says:
When our thoughts are equal, our food also becomes equal.

🟣 1. एकवाक्येन उत्तर लिखत ।

( The Gopalas brought curd rice, puris, laddus and sweets. )

उत्तर: कृष्णः “अस्माकं मनांसि समानानि, विचाराः समानाः, भोजनम् अपि समानम्” इति वदति।
( Krishna says that our minds are equal, our thoughts are equal and our food should also be equal. )
❓ 3) कृष्णः खाद्यपदार्थान् किं मिश्रयति?
उत्तर: कृष्णः सर्वान् खाद्यपदार्थान् मिश्रयति।
( Krishna mixes all the food items. )
❓ 4) पाठे प्रयुक्तानि कृष्णस्य नामानि लिखत।
उत्तर: बालकृष्णः, देवकीनन्दनः, गोपनायकः।
🟣 2. प्रश्ननिर्माणं कुरुत ।
(Frame the questions.)
1) गोकुलस्था: बालगोपालाः वासुदेवेन सह आसाय हिंडन्ते स्म।
प्रश्नः: के वासुदेवेन सह आसाय हिंडन्ते स्म?
2) बालकृष्णः गोकुले गोपालान् करोति स्म।
प्रश्नः: बालकृष्णः कुत्र गोपालान् करोति स्म?

(Write your experience of eating together in English.)
Sample Answer:
Eating together gives happiness. When we share food, we feel love and unity. Sharing makes the food more tasty.

(Write other names of Krishna.)
उत्तर: वासुदेवः, माधवः, केशवः, गोविन्दः।
🟣 9. युष्माकं प्रियभोजनपदार्थानां सूची संस्कृतभाषया कुरुत ।
(Write a list of your favourite food items in Sanskrit.)
Example:
